Register for upcoming episodesWhat is Command Line Heroes
Command Line Heroes is hands-on. It is not a slide-only conference. Each episode focuses on production stories: what broke, how it was diagnosed, and which shell habits helped teams recover faster.
What we do in each episode
- Production-first sessions: practical incidents, fixes, and engineering trade-offs
- Live workflow breakdowns: tooling, setup choices, and terminal ergonomics
- Lightning demos from community members sharing focused wins
- Challenge and quiz rounds for active, hands-on learning
- Open networking with developers and SREs who care about craft
Tools we have covered so far
Real examples from sessions include:
fzf, Neovim, tmux, tmuxinator, zsh, production-grade bash scripting, Git internals, kubectl aliases, Visidata, Jujutsu, Spaces CLI, and SSH troubleshooting patterns.
What it means to be a command line hero
A Command Line Hero is not someone with a perfect dotfiles repo. It is someone who uses the terminal to think clearly, automate repetitive work, debug under pressure, and share what they learn.
If you are curious, hands-on, and willing to learn in public, you already belong here.
Episode 4 coming soon
The next chapter is in the works. Expect fresh sessions, sharper workflows, and another room full of enthusiasts.
